Dr Colin D’Silva is a Principal Scientist and Associate Director, Scientific Communications & Public Relations for P&G Beauty, based in Singapore. He works with the Research & Development departments at the Asia/Pacific technical centers located in Japan & Singapore to design new hair and skin care cosmetic products.

Dr D’Silva was a research scientist with the Governments of Canada and Japan, before joining P&G. With a doctorate in Microbial Biochemistry from McGill University, Montreal, Canada, he is an expert in Cosmetic Science and Technology, and regularly addresses dermatologists, medical doctors, beauty editors, hair stylists and style and fashion experts across the globe, on skin and hair science and P&G beauty technologies. He has presented P&G beauty research at various scientific conferences & symposia around the world. Dr. D’Silva is also a regular columnist in beauty, fashion and lifestyle magazines.
